wagonlogo  The Seaview Association, an incorporated not-for-profit Homeowners Association (501 C-4), owns and/ or maintains the community’s sidewalks, a children’s playground and wading pool, six tennis courts, a ball field, a community house and doctor’s office, the Serber Memorial Park, and other common areas.  The Association also purchased the 60-slip Seaview boat basin in June 2006.

The Seaview Community Manager and his staff oversee the maintenance of the community infrastructure and facilities. The Seaview doctor is in residence during the summer months and on weekends during the spring and fall.  Security personnel are employed by the Association to patrol the community on weekend and holiday evenings during the summer season (Integrated Security Services). The Association also sponsors recreational programs at the tennis courts and ball field, runs a very popular Little League program, a sailing program for children, sponsors Senior Courtesy Cart to transport elderly or handicapped homeowners and visitors, and provides lifeguards at the bay swimming area and the wading pool at the children’s playground. The Seaview Water Company, a division of the Association,  pumps, stores and distributes water to homes in the community on a seasonal basis. (April 15th to November 15th)
These community activities, services, and maintenance projects are organized and administered by the Officers and Directors of the Association who are elected by the membership, and who serve on a volunteer basis.  In addition to carrying out a wide range of community management and administrative functions, the Association also acts on behalf of our residents on issues that reach beyond the borders of Seaview.  Working through the Fire Island Association, for example, we join in projects of mutual interest with the other 16  Fire Island communities.  The Association also maintains an excellent working relationship with the Towns of Islip and Brookhaven which supply several important services through the mechanism of special improvement districts. These include:  seaview village

We have established a collegial and productive relationship with the Superintendent and staff of the Fire Island National Seashore.
