Seaview's Wimbledon changes it's name to ' The Joe Miller Memorial Doubles Tournament'.

Alan Dunst, the chairperson of the Seaview Tennis Committee, gave a heartfelt speech memorializing the late Joe Miller. Joe was a pillar of the Seaview community, who worked tirelessly to get the Seaview tennis courts up and running. We are honored to rename our tournament in Joe's memory.

I want to thank many people for making this years tournament a VERY successful event. Billy Svingos was gracious in providing a larger screen TV making the viewing of the actual Wimbledon men's final even more exciting. Fran Lifshay donated hats for some of our winners, and Larry Mattiasen for his continued help doing whatever is needed.

Simo, our head pro, was instrumental in making sure our tournament ran smoothly. And a special thank you to my husband Elliot for his support and hard work helping me make this a memorable and fun tournament.
